Containment Retrofits: Real Costs, Timelines and Results

Containment Retrofits: Real Costs, Timelines and Results

by seo-onlineoptimisation | Apr 20, 2026 | Containment

Building containment into a new data centre is straightforward. The architects design it in. The contractors install it before the first server arrives. Nobody is working around live equipment or negotiating maintenance windows. Retrofitting containment into an...
Hot Aisle vs Cold Aisle Containment: The ROI Numbers Nobody Talks About

Hot Aisle vs Cold Aisle Containment: The ROI Numbers Nobody Talks About

by seo-onlineoptimisation | Apr 20, 2026 | Containment

There is no shortage of articles explaining the difference between hot aisle containment and cold aisle containment. The basic mechanics are well covered: cold aisle containment seals the cold supply air in, hot aisle containment captures the hot exhaust air. Both...
Blanking Panel Materials Compared: ABS Plastic vs Steel vs Foam

Blanking Panel Materials Compared: ABS Plastic vs Steel vs Foam

by seo-onlineoptimisation | Apr 2, 2026 | Blanking Panels

Not all blanking panels are made from the same material. And the material you choose affects far more than appearance. It determines fire safety, airflow sealing, weight load on your rack, reusability, and long-term cost. Most data centre teams pick blanking panels...
Liquid Cooling vs Air Cooling: Where Blanking Panels Still Matter

Liquid Cooling vs Air Cooling: Where Blanking Panels Still Matter

by seo-onlineoptimisation | Apr 2, 2026 | Blanking Panels

The data centre industry is talking about liquid cooling like it is the answer to everything. Direct-to-chip cooling, immersion tanks, rear-door heat exchangers. The message from many vendors is clear: air cooling is old technology, and liquid is the future. There is...

The Compliance Gap: Fire Ratings and Safety Standards for Data Centre Rack Accessories

by seo-onlineoptimisation | Apr 2, 2026 | Rack Safety & Materials

Ask a data centre operations manager about their fire suppression system and they will give you a detailed answer. FM-200, Novec 1230, VESDA detection, zoned release sequences. These are well-understood, well-documented, and regularly audited. Now ask the same person...

Modular Wall Discontinued

EziBlank has made the difficult decision to discontinue our Modular Wall product (EZWM23UPNL02).

The Data Center industry has changed significantly, and we have seen a notable decline in demand for this product. As a result, it is no longer viable for us to continue manufacturing and distributing it worldwide.

We currently have small quantities of stock available in our warehouses in Sydney, Chicago, and the United Kingdom. Once this remaining inventory has been sold, the product will not be restocked.

We understand that this may cause some disappointment for some of your customers, and we genuinely appreciate your understanding. This decision was not made lightly, but unfortunately we were left with no alternative.

Please be assured that we have no plans to discontinue any of our other flagship EziBlank products.

If you would like to purchase any of the remaining units, or if you have any questions, please contact our orders team at orders@idcsolutions.com.au

Thank you for your understanding and for your continued support.
