Airflow Mistakes That Happen During Data Centre Decommissioning

Airflow Mistakes That Happen During Data Centre Decommissioning

by seo-onlineoptimisation | Jun 10, 2026 | Uncategorized

Decommissioning gets all the attention for what comes out: servers, storage arrays, networking equipment, cabling. The project plan covers asset tracking, data destruction, power disconnection, and physical removal. There are checklists for security, compliance, and...
The Real Cost of a Single Hot Spot in Your Data Centre

The Real Cost of a Single Hot Spot in Your Data Centre

by seo-onlineoptimisation | Jun 10, 2026 | Uncategorized

A hot spot is not just a warm rack. It is a cascading failure trigger that affects equipment lifespan, server performance, energy costs, cooling system behaviour, and compliance exposure simultaneously. But because most hot spots do not cause immediate outages, they...
Why Most Data Centres Waste 30% of Their Cooling Capacity

Why Most Data Centres Waste 30% of Their Cooling Capacity

by seo-onlineoptimisation | Jun 10, 2026 | Uncategorized

Most data centres have enough cooling. They do not have a capacity problem. They have a delivery problem. The cooling infrastructure (CRAC units, chilled water plants, condensers) produces enough cold air to handle the IT load with margin to spare. But somewhere...
Five Data Centre Thermal Failures That Could Have Been Prevented

Five Data Centre Thermal Failures That Could Have Been Prevented

by seo-onlineoptimisation | Jun 3, 2026 | Uncategorized

Thermal events in data centres do not make headlines the way security breaches or power outages do. They happen quietly. A row of servers throttles for 20 minutes at 2 AM. A storage array throws temperature warnings that get cleared without investigation. A CRAC unit...
Brush Panels vs Cable Grommets: Sealing Performance Compared

Brush Panels vs Cable Grommets: Sealing Performance Compared

by seo-onlineoptimisation | May 26, 2026 | Uncategorized

Brush panels and cable grommets both seal openings in the data centre. Both use bristle-based mechanisms that close around cables while allowing additions and removals. Both prevent bypass airflow. From a distance, they look like the same product in different form...

Modular Wall Discontinued

EziBlank has made the difficult decision to discontinue our Modular Wall product (EZWM23UPNL02).

The Data Center industry has changed significantly, and we have seen a notable decline in demand for this product. As a result, it is no longer viable for us to continue manufacturing and distributing it worldwide.

We currently have small quantities of stock available in our warehouses in Sydney, Chicago, and the United Kingdom. Once this remaining inventory has been sold, the product will not be restocked.

We understand that this may cause some disappointment for some of your customers, and we genuinely appreciate your understanding. This decision was not made lightly, but unfortunately we were left with no alternative.

Please be assured that we have no plans to discontinue any of our other flagship EziBlank products.

If you would like to purchase any of the remaining units, or if you have any questions, please contact our orders team at orders@idcsolutions.com.au

Thank you for your understanding and for your continued support.
